Our Story

Why We Started GoMoneyFrugal

Having grown up with very little, our founder’s world was shaped by the simplicity of village life — where people made do with the basics and dreams often felt distant. Yet, one thing carried her through: determination.

She worked hard at school, pushed through every challenge, and eventually graduated. Life moved forward — she built a career, got married, and was blessed with three wonderful children. Today, she is also a proud grandmother.

Then, at the age of 60, reality set in.

Despite decades of hard work, she looked at her hands and realized they were empty — a small pension, the same bills, and a growing awareness that change was necessary. Not just for herself, but for the generations watching.

That moment inspired her to create Go Money Frugal — a space dedicated to sharing everything she has learned (and continues to learn) about saving smarter, living frugally, and building financial peace at any stage of life.
